Guest Blog: The Aftermath

A few weeks ago, I got the opportunity of a lifetime.  I guest blogged on a Real Blog and my life was forever changed.

After all was said and done, after the sky cleared and the dust settled, after I came up for air from being submerged in the craziness of paparazzi and fame…there was one more thing that happened in the aftermath of my whirlwind guest blogging experience.

Emily asked me to write another post.

I took her offer and basically ran it in for a touchdown.

Or maybe just ran it out of bounds.  I’ll let you decide.  So, go.  Read.  Please?

  1. That’s some Michael Vick speed you’re showing off! Way to leave my brother in the dust. The only thing that beats your incredible run is your touchdown dance.

But the real star? It’s the amazing Christmas cards by Emily. No, that deserves more caps: AMAZING!

  2. I LoVe your photos – they will make fab Christmas cards. I love the finger-eye-glass-mask funny face…as a matter of fact, that is the only funny face I’ve got in my repetoir. Seriously, any “funny picture” for the last 15 years, same face. That is how much I dig it (and the amount of creativity or other funny face skills I have to work with).

Also, I don’t think anyone answered your question. Yes, people still say ‘tore up from the floor up’…at least in the south. In fact, that is the only place I’ve heard it in the last 10 years. I think you can (and should) keep using it, but perhaps consider adding a lil’ southern twang? mmmhmmmm…

    • Thanks, Megs! We loved how the photos turned out…and the Xmas cards – stay tuned! The eye goggles are a new “funny face” for me – we’ll have to rock it together next time we visit!
And…verdict’s in…’tore up from the floor up’ has been officially added to my Go To phrases bucket and I’ll be sure to spice it up with some southern twang. Holla!
