Have a happy one.

Have an out of this world romantically sweet time on this very special/lovely/fake/made-up holiday designed to make single people feel unfairly glum and the newly dating feel ridiculously smug and the old married folk feel unnecessary pressure and the rest of the people that didn’t know it was Valentine’s Day, well, they just feel confused (obviously).

I’m going to work all day and then I’m going to go home and eat bean burritos with this guy.  We were made for each other.

Have a happy one.  It’s Monday, after all.

  1. Despite this blog post, I wish the Valentine Grinch a very special one! I might even squish her bean burrito into the shape of a heart.

  2. Happy V Day to all! I celebrated with the dogs (Cinnamon & Penelope) and we ate steak and lobster together!!! A very romantic dinner that took place around 2pm on Saturday. ::)) Most of the holidays are made up so I think we should enjoy them AND it is a good time to acknowledge your loved ones. Rainer maria Rilke said “For one human being to love another: that is perhaps the most difficult of our tasks; the ultimate, the last test and proof, the work for which all other work is but preparation.” or Robert Heinlein said: “Love is a condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.” That is cool. Love is hard work but necessary for living life well. love mamap

Hope you are enjoying your heart-shaped-squished burritos :-)

  4. Loved the quote Tai and Kate is perfect for sharing with Daisy. Hugs to all. It is warmer out so I am a much more pleasant person to be around. ::)) lv mamap
