Here is my Top 7 (yes, 7) list of June loves. In other words, another chance to List thing-ys. *claps*
1. Hubs and I snuck off to ritzy Newport Beach, CA for a conference and it felt good to hear the ocean…
along with the excited chatter of a bazillion mini life guards in training, all sporting matching apparel. Too cute.
2. The movie Adventureland. Kristen Stewart is in it but it’s WAY better than any of those sh*tty vampire flicks.
3. Summer running with my cross country kids started up this month. I have to say, I missed them.
4. Jergens Natural Glow lotion. So I can get my tan on without actually getting tan. Scooore!
5. Alvin The Aloe. He used to be *puny* when he lived in my office in Minnesota but now he’s so big, he’s sprouted babies of his own!
6. Our trip home to see our adorable family’s faces.
7. My hubs. He’s the best guy for me.
June was over too soon. July’s here already!?!
Check out my Raves and Faves for June 2011 here and for June 2010 (whoa!), look here.

I want to see the ocean someday…glad you got some vacation time
You must see the ocean – put it on your bucket list!
I should have taken a cue from the junior lifeguards and covered up with a shirt and cap; I would have avoided my “stupidity sunburn.” But it was a great time at a beautiful beach nonetheless.
I would also add #8: Frozen Banana Stands. Those were everywhere on Balboa Island!
Sunburns are sneaky like that. Even though frozen bananas were all the rage in Newport Beach, the real treat were those fried zucchinis! Gah, those were good.
Lovely list. One day I will get to California. It is still hot here. I can’t believe you saved an aloe plant. Good for you!! Already July. Enjoy Enjoy. Lv mamap
California sure is a beautiful place, but I have to admit I love CO more.
Love the Ocean shot! Zack, I hear you on the stupidity sunburn…I forgot to put on sunblock during a landscaping project. Hopefully next time we’ll remember the spf50 before it’s too late
Stupid sunburns, hate those! Ooh, you’ll have to fill me on your landscaping escapades, too fun!
